How to write HTML: article for Mensa Design SIG

Here is the web content to support the article in DeSIGn about how to write html code.

The article (part 1), as published, did not receive its final checking due to a misunderstanding. It was published in the form in which it had been submitted for comment as to length and suitability.

I had used voice recognition software to write it. Unfortunately, the kind of errors that voice recognition software makes often appear as total non sequiturs, (but not spelling errors) and the intended final check should have found the remaining wrong words and punctuation.

Here Part 1, with known errors corrected.

Support material for the second part will be available when other commitments permit.
